About
A family decorating firm in Great Bromley
“I pride myself on providing a friendly, reliable, honest service.”
Graham on the tools, Catherine in the office
Graham Patten holds City & Guilds NVQ Levels 1 and 2 in painting and decorating, with training and experience in all types of paintwork, wallpaper hanging and specialist finishes including rag rolling, marbling and graining. He added an NVQ Level 2 in plastering in 2012, so patch plastering and artex repairs are done in-house.
His wife Catherine looks after the office and is usually the first person customers speak to. She comes from a career in customer service and wants every customer to be happy with the whole job, from the first enquiry to the finished look.
Graham has painted at Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium in London, in local schools and churches, and on Grade II listed period properties.

Materials and products
The right product matters as much as the right decorator
Graham has trade accounts with Dulux, Brewers and Kent & Blaxill, which gives quick access to a wide range of materials and to trade-only offers. He can also buy from a supplier you prefer, or you can buy your own materials and book him for labour only.
Specialist products include damp proof paint, insulating paint, eco paint, anti-bacterial paint, stain block and barn paint. He is happy to advise on quantities and which product suits the job.
Ladders and an access tower are kept in stock, so there is no hire charge when a job needs working at height.
Community and sponsorship
Helping where we can
Where possible, Pattern Perfect helps with worthwhile community projects and causes. If your community project or charity needs a hand, or you are looking for a sponsor, get in touch.
